NATURE EXPLORERS

AGES: 5-7 YEARS OLD

10:00-11:00am

April 15th – Salamanders – Registration opens March 12th

May 13th – Insects – Registration opens April 16th 

Bring your children out to a naturalist-led class that will immerse them in the natural world, using different exploration-based techniques to get them engaged.

Registration required – opens at 8:00am on date stated above

 

NATURE INVESTIGATORS

AGES: 8-12 YEARS OLD

10:00-11:30am

April 29th – Salamanders – Registration opens March 26th

May 20th – Insects – Registration opens April 30th

Join us monthly as we become scientists and learn the skills necessary to observe and explore our world.  Each month we will have a new topic.

Registration required – opens at 8:00am on date stated above

 

NATURE RANGERS

Ages: 13-18

10am-11:30am

April 24th – Wetlands

Seize this unique opportunity to closely study the park’s ecology using scientific methods. Participants will do hands on field research using lab techniques and data collection to examine the many environments of Bowie.

Registration is required.
