Over 700 acres of forest, lakes and 17 miles of trails… Bowie is a great place for individuals, couples and families to come and enjoy their time. Bicycling, horseback riding, fishing, running, walking and playing aboard the Treehouse Playground can be enjoyed each and every day of the year.

At any time, trails may be closed to bikers and horseback riders due to wet conditions, it is advisable to call before riding.
When visiting the Park, check the Kiosk located in front of the restrooms for seasonal hiking guides, wildflower and wildlife information.

Basic Yoga August 4th 5:30-6:30pm Adults and Youth 13 and older $5/class suggested donation No advanced Registration Slow down and relax in the peaceful beauty of Bowie Park during a one-hour yoga session at Joann’s Outdoor Classroom.  Yoga can be practiced by all ages and fitness levels.  Rebecca Dandekar recently completed the 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance certification at Sanctuary and is excited to share her passion with others.  Please bring a mat and water.     Starlight Jam:  Featuring Runaway Home August 5th 6:30-9:00pm All Ages $5/adult suggested donation No Advanced Registration Join us for the last Starlight Jam of the season. Registration for the August Homeschool Program Starts August 1st

The schedule for the FREE Fall Homeschool Program is now available.  The program is for children ages: 5-12yrs old.  Classes are held once a month on Mondays.  Parents choose between 9-11am or 1-3pm.  Parents are welcome to stay and join the class or should make plans to stay in Bowie Park for the 2 hour class. To register: Call (615)799-5544 ext. 2 or email Programdirector@fairview-tn.org Registration opens on the date stated below the program description.  You must register in order to attend the program. Runaway Home to Headline at Bowie Park’s August 5th Starlight Jam

Fairview Parks Department is inviting everyone to the last Starlight Jam of the season on Friday night, August 5th.   The featured entertainers are Runaway Home.  Music will start at 6:30pm and run until 9pm.  Runaway Home will start up about 7pm.  Park staff recommends that you bring camp chairs or blankets and even a picnic dinner if you like.  A $5/adult suggested donation is requested. All proceeds go back into the music program at Bowie Park.  The goal of the Starlight Jam series is to provide a place for music
